Can't Light My Fire Friday Surf & Culture Report

You know you're going to do a thorough check of the surf when you're following the Danger Van. Let's check the stats and see if Danger Boy and the Professor found anything...
Pretty gray and hazy with about a mile visibility. Low overcast as far as we can see. The winds are already onshore from the SW by 3.9kts and there's a considerable tack working up on the surface. The air temp is 54.7°and the water is holding at 58.1°. High tide was at 5:46am +4.3' and low tide will follow at 1:14pm +0.2'. At the moment we have a swell coming out of 224° at 2.0'. Not so deluxe, BUT we checked the Platform Harvest and they are showing a 5.5' swell coming down from 310°. This could mean that we have a chance of having waves tomorrow or Sunday. We LIKE that! We'd also like to thank Danger Boy for reminding us about the Platform Harvest site.. We've attached the Platform site if you're curious about what we're looking at.
