Well-Heeled Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

It's spring and the full compliments of bugs have begun to show up in the usual places.  This happens to be in the shower at the Topaz International Trump Tower Suites.  It looks like a cross between a Piper Cub, a daddy long-legs and a mosquito.

A beautiful morning on the bay today..  Clear skies and 22 miles visibility.  Winds are soft from the ENE at 3.9kts.  The sea surface is smooth.  The air temperature is 50.4°and the water is 56.3°.  High tide was at 9:12am +5.0' and low tide will be at 3:22pm +0.1'.  Out of 277° the buoy is reading a 3.9' swell.  We're calling the waves 3' to 4'.  We were out in the water when Mike Purpus showed up on a Kingfish.  He said it was the first one Gumby ever shaped.  It didn't look like he had it wired yet, but he'
s hell bent to show Sciordia and the Mira Costa crew that he can still ride short boards.  The Professor wished him luck.

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
