St. Patrick's Day Tuesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

And a top o' the mornin' to ya!  Yoor lookin' redeye to celebrate St. Paddy's Day in a fine fashion!  Our first photo has a brilliant photo of those two splendid Irishmen, the McGroin brothers Boomfwappa and the Professor (not shown is Pat.  Yes, Pat McGroin!)  Lawd, they're lookin' more alike every day!

It's a beautiful almost Spring morning and we have 7 miles visibility under clear but hazy skies.  Winds are calm and the sea surface is glassy as yer mither's eye.  The air temperature is 54.1°and the water is up a couple to 57.7°  High tide is way early at 1:18am +4.5' and low tide is at 9:50am +0.8', so there's really only one tide today.  We have a swell coming out of the WSW at 200° and it's registering a 3.6'.  We lose a little as it turns the corner, but we surfed Tres Palmas and there were a few nice ones coming through.  Early is better with a bit more water!

Our second photo is of Rebecca Burke and her friend "Alice."  They were both in "You Can't Take It With You."  A wonderful performance, we enjoyed every moment!

Now, out wid ya and get some potatoes for the corned beef!  Yer slacker!

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
