Merry Christmas Thursday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

A Merry Christmas to you all on this rainy, very winter-like Southern California day.  Let's see what the surf looks like so you can try out all your new equipment...

Under rainy, cloudy skies we have one and a half miles visibility.  Winds are offshore by 9.7kts and the sea surface has a bit of reverse tack to it.  The air temp is 53.6℉ and the water is 57.7℉.  High tide is at 7:26am +5.7' and low tide will follow at 2:54pm -0.6'.  The buoy is reading 6.6' on an increasing swell and the waves even floated by the high tide are 5' to 6' where they're breaking (check out Burnout, the Cove and Avenue F at the drain.)  As the tide drops it's going to get better!

So a very Merry Holiday to you all and we'll be back on the 31st for the Kincaid's salute to '08.  Things start at 4pm and we'll be late, but start without us!

"When the surf breaks, we'll fix it..."
 The Professor!!
