Wet Blanket Wednesday Surf & Culture Report

Lost Boys & Co...

The attached photo shows "Birdie" loading up the VW for the ride home.  Kinda working all of the classics there - long board, old Vee Dub and those original Uggs...

A beautiful morning to greet the day with 20 miles visibility under clear skies.  The wind is offshore by 3.9kts and the sea surface is glassy.  The air temperature is 60.6f and the water is 59.4f.  High tide is at 6:38am +6.4' and low tide will be at 1:58pm -1.0'.  The buoy is reading 2.6' and the waves are about half that, crashing right on the shore.  Better luck tomorrow.

GiGi sent us the following (she and Danger Boy are in the choir:

Last year, St. Lawrence Choirs combined with Holy Trinity Choir to present Handel's Messiah.

This year, we are combining again to present Advent Lessons and Carols, a choral concert in a sacred setting. It includes a variety of wonderful choral music (carols) of classics both ancient and contemporary, as well as scriptures (lessons) about the Incarnation.

Please, come and join us at St. Lawrence on Friday December 12 at 7:30 pm. It's a wonderful way to break from the frantic pace of the holidays and slow down with beautiful, other-worldly music.

BMHS has a contest in the morning so we'll be at Torrance Beach for the excitement.  Let's hope there's something to ride and write about!
