We thought it interesting that the Professor should focus on water towers. You might remember that he did a bunch in New York, there was the one in Emmit, Idaho and now he's been snapping all of the valley examples along the 99. Obviously a strong connection to H2O! Our two examples are from Merced and Pixley...
Once again some good waves today! Visibility was about 10 miles under overcast skies - which seem to be trying to clear. Winds were offshore by 3.6kts and the sea surface was smooth. The air temp was 61.9° and the water is still a bit too chilly at 63.9°. Low tide was at 7:40am +0.8' and low tide will follow at 2:37pm +4.2'. The buoy was reading a SSW swell out of 200° at 3.6' and we're calling it 3' to 5' with some nice round outsides.

Just letting you know, I'm producing the Spyder movie nights down at the Hermosa Pier. The first one (was last night) at 8 pm in front of Spyder II on the Hermosa Pier Plaza. There are movies the following three Thursdays at the same time and place. I've attached the flyer. Could you include it, and this info in today's Lost Boy's Newsletter?? Muchas Gracias! "We've got the popcorn, and the big screen. Reef has the movie and some raffle goodies (possibly an athlete or two?). You just need to bring a beach chair, maybe a blanket and a good vibe. Summer Movie nights are back in conjunction with Hermosa Beach First Thursdays. Bring the family - we're taking back downtown Hermosa!"

Finally, remember that the Professor & LoLa will be hosting their annual 4th of July Linguiça feed and meeting of the tribe. 5pm with all of the usual suspects and maybe a few new faces... Be there or be Albanian!
