Here we have a shot of James Wheatley, getting ready to attack this virgin blank. It's either good news or bad, but he just got an order for like, 50 boards! That's a lot of foam to mow... Not to mention the fact that Birdie and Oscar now have to laminate all of them! They're going to be needing some doughnuts next week...
Another warm day in the Southland. Visibility 20 miles with a bit of marine haze covering the beaches. Winds were offshore at checkout, 5.1kts and the sea surface is glassy. The air temp is 66.1° and the water is 64.0°, which is not bad for Nov. 5th. High tide is at 8:39am +6.9' and low tide will drain the tub at 3:36pm -1.0'. The surf is currently out of the SW 232° at 2.6'. We'll call it 2' and hope it might get better as the tide drops. Maybe the Cove or one of those rocky spots?
Boomfwappa and the Wrynkled Booty Bandits will be playing at Keegan's tonight. Happy hour at Buffalo Fire Dept. around 5:30pm and 7pm at Keegan's. Personally, we're having the hot dogs at Keegan's and trying not to fill up on fries at BFD.
Then there's our second shot showing Cory trying to fit his fin into an almost big enough box. Not quite square peg and round hole, but maybe just a bit too much. Don't worry, he'll slim it down enough. We heard that he, Buffalo Kevin, Mike Purpus and Red John caught some good Cove yesterday pm... Yeah, we're thinking about it...
